Inspiration Board: Pretty in pink...and red!

We are very excited to share our latest inspiration board, it just oozes romance! The color palette of pinks is just so darn PRETTY! We love spicing it up with a touch of red and incorporating the dove grey as the neutral adds a perfect modern touch.

Backyard Brunch - Country Style

We enjoyed going back to our roots to help plan and design a backyard brunch in Nashville, Tennessee. The event took place on a farm complete with barns and horses. We were inspired by the "Equestrian Elegance" style board below which we found on Snippet & Ink.

Pictures of the event will be available soon, for now we will tease you with these amazingly cute invitations that truly set the tone for the event. We worked with Andrea at Paper Presence to design this stationery set. We LOVE hatch show print and were so excited to incorporate that style into the invitation. The lace wrap is a beautiful, feminine touch.

In addition to the invitations, tags were created to tie around the mason jars guests used to drink their sweet tea and bloody marys out of. The menu cards added a great touch to the buffet where guests enjoyed among other things chicken and waffles, world famous biscuits and of course GRITS!

Almost Married! Evan and Mark

Why compete with your space? We saw no reason to do so at a recent rehearsal dinner we planned and designed at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club! A nautical chic design theme was a natural fit for this celebration. We created the style board below to provide inspiration throughout the planning process.

The adorable invitations were created by Andrea with Paper Presence, can you believe she tied tiny little nautical ropes into knots and glued them to each one?? Such a perfect little touch!
Again, with the help of Andrea with Paper Presence, we created custom escort flags to not only help guests find their tables but also to indicate their menu choice to the staff at the Yacht Club! Each flag indicated a choice of steak, chicken or veggie by depicting the nautical alphabet flag for the letters S, C and V. Above those flags were a pennant with the name of the guest and their table number.

Thanks to Sara Gill with Gill Photography for all of the amazing detail shots!! We LOVE you! xoxo
The decor budget for this dinner was somewhat limited, we ordered wholesale hydrangea which we placed in mason jars and placed around a candle lit lantern. Each table had a different lantern and nautical rope was used to tie around each mason jar opening.
John Demas provided the beautiful music for guests to enjoy during the cocktail hour and dinner!

The groom and his family who hosted this event are from Lincoln, Nebraska. Small jars of blueberry jam made with love in Lincoln, Nebraska were at each place setting for the guests to take home as a favor. Also at each place setting, each napkin was tied with a nautical rope "napkin ring"! What a gorgeous view from the window of the bridge room at the Yacht Club!
We had such a great time planning this rehearsal dinner. We cannot wait to share pictures from the wedding ceremony and reception!
